Wolfhart Pannenberg on Eternal Life

Wolfhart Pannenberg’s short book on metaphysics (Metaphysics and the Idea of God) has some interesting remarks on the relationship between finitude and infinitude, and the relationship between that and human life and death. Pannenberg has been dubbed the theologian of the future, and speaking of the relationship between one’s future to one’s life (in the context he is comparing Plotinus with Heidegger) he writes:
